Pearson VUE - testing within the certification programs

 

• Test center is open for general public.
• Participant should meet the qualification requirements for a specific exam.
• Participant must have created an account via Pearson VUE website.
• Participant must have a valid registration for the exam..

• Arrive at least 20 minutes before the exam starts.
• Before the start of the exam, we will verify your identity by presenting two IDs, one of which must contain your photo and signature (citizen's license, driver's license, passport, ...), the other ID only needs your signature.
• You fill out the Candidate Rules Agreement and Log Sheet documents.
• Electronic signature alongside photo is taken during admission process.
• All the personal belongings (phone, watch, ...) will be put in a locker. It is not allowed to carry any personal and electronic items during the exam.
• Before starting the exam, you will receive an erasable chart and a marker.
• An administrator is present during the testing, who ensures the transparency of the exam.
• After finishing the testing, you hand over the erasable table and sign the Log Sheet. If the sponsor of the given exam allows the result to be printed directly at the test center, we will print the result and hand it over to you.

• During testing, the participant must not leave the testing center, otherwise its violation of rules and exam is stopped.
• If our test center does not offer exam of yours, you have the option of taking the exam online.
• The validity of the purchased exam is in most cases 365 days/1 year, it is possible to register for the exam during this time window.
• Exam can be canceled 24 hours prior the exam scheduled time and postponed to another date.
• The participant should arrive at the test center 20 minutes before the start of the exam in order to verify the identity and sign the necessary documentation.
• Headphones are available for participant to suppress the surrounding noise, which ensures a calm and undisturbed environment during the exam.

 

• Visit Pearson VUE website at https://home.pearsonvue.com
• After the website opens, in search bar "Type the name or acronym of your testing organization" type the name of the company (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft, Juniper...) as an exam provider.
• Another page will open. The next description of the procedure is suited for signing up for the Cisco Systems CCNA exam. However, the steps will be very similar.
• Click the Login button with the credentials you used for registration to Cisco systems portal (if an account has not been created yet, click Sign up button).
• After the reaction of an account, the main page is displayed – Dashboard.
• From the options on the left, choose Schedule and then Schedule an Exam.
• Choose CCNA exam (its under Associate group). Click Schedule.
• If you prefer to sit for exam in a testing center, choose At a test center. Click Next.
• Choose the language for the exam. Click Next.
• Accept the terms of "Cisco Certification Confidentiality Agreement" by clicking on Yes. Click Next.
• Accept additional guidelines that may appear by clicking Agree button.
• Choose the testing center. Click Next.
• Choose a date in a calendar and hour. Click Book Appointment.
• The order is displayed, double check its content. Continue by clicking Proceed to Checkout button.
• Choose the method of payment. If a voucher is available to you, add it by pressing Add Voucher or Promo Code button. Then click Apply. Continue by clicking Next button.
• Summarize the order.
• After successful completion of the exam, request the certificate from www.certmetrics.com (signing credentials are the same as for the Cisco account). You can sign in also via https://home.pearsonvue.com/cisco.
• The certificate in electronic form can be downloaded in PDF format under Certifications.
• The certificate can be requested in physical form by clicking Certificates & Plaques, where you click on Claim & Purchase (Certificates & Plaques) button and fill all the required information for certificate delivery.
